Target Runs and Taco Stops — What’s New Near Nolina?
Shopping and dining near Nolina just got a little more interesting. A new Target has opened in Liberty Hill, while Georgetown has welcomed fresh spots for burgers, pizza, and tacos. The new hot spots add to an already stellar lineup of retail and services. Here’s what’s new:
Let’s start with the big red bullseye. A new Target opened this month at 351 U.S. Highway 183 in Liberty Hill, bringing approximately 148,000 square feet of shopping near Nolina. The location offers an expanded fresh-food selection — including produce, meat, and dairy — making it an option for stocking the refrigerator, as well as picking up the throw pillows and holiday decorations that somehow found their way into your cart. A CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café are also inside, so a shopping trip can come with a prescription pickup and a coffee break.
New York’s favorite burger and hand-spun shakes restaurant opened in Georgetown at 1316 W. University Avenue with both dine-in and drive-thru service. Make it a casual lunch stop, grab dinner on the way home, or settle the family’s “what sounds good?” debate with a round of burgers and fries. Don’t forget to try a concrete — you’ll be glad you did.
Pizza night has a new contender. Mountain Mike’s Pizza opened at 1314 W. University Avenue, serving up classic and specialty pizzas alongside wings, salads, and sandwiches. This location also has an outdoor patio, kids’ arcade, six big-screen televisions, and a weekday lunch buffet.
If your usual taco order could use a little adventure, Georgetown’s new Velvet Taco is ready to help. The restaurant, located at 1310 W. University Avenue in Bluebonnet Plaza, has more than 20 tacos and bowls on the menu. Known for unconventional taco combinations, the fast-casual restaurant gives you plenty of reasons to branch out from your regular order.
