Nolina Wins Community of the Year MAX Award
Nolina has been named Austin’s Community of the Year.
Announced at the MAX Awards ceremony hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin on April 2, the Community of the Year award recognizes excellence in all aspects of residential development, from infrastructure and homes by respected builders to amenities and lifestyle programming that caters to residents of all ages.
Having launched home sales just two years ago, the Nolina team is honored to receive such prestigious recognition so early in development — particularly among the many outstanding residential communities that call Austin home.
Community of the Year wasn’t our only MAX award this year, however. We also won Charitable Project of the Year for last year’s Summer of Hope initiative that saw thousands of dollars donated to MD Anderson Cancer Center and other charities. Summer of Hope included donations for every new home sold in Nolina from June through August 2025, a Benefit Home project that yielded a $300,000 donation split between MD Anderson, HomeAid Austin, and the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, and a Sharpie to Studs event that framed the Benefit Home with love, as 70+ people affected by cancer rallied to write notes of love and resilience on a home being built to change lives. The Benefit Home component of the Summer of Hope campaign recently received national recognition, winning a Gold Award in The Nationals, an awards program by the National Association of Home Builders.
Also taking home a MAX Award was Nolina’s magazine, which won Best Brochure. The 44-page publication presents like a magazine, highlighting not just Nolina’s builders and amenities, but also the surrounding Georgetown area.
Nolina’s final MAX Award was for Best Realtor Promotion. We kicked off the year with a Boots & Bloom Realtor promotion that earned our top 15 Realtors a shopping spree at Tecovas on the charming Georgetown square.
The Nolina team extends its gratitude to the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, our builder partners, and the residents who bring Nolina to life every day. This recognition belongs to all who have helped shape a community defined by connection, generosity, and vision.
